I haven't even used my new Calphalon and All-Clad cookware and OXO kitchen equipment that I purchased during Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday deals. James and I needed to go to the supermarket for James' food staples while I'm traveling. Suddenly, I heard "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" on the supermarket PA system ... I wasn't hungry until I heard ... 'now bring us some figgy pudding.' Coincidentally, James I were walking down the bread aisle and fig jam was in front of my face and I got inspired ...

Roasted Broccoli: Broccoli. EVOO. Sugar. S & P. Lemon.

With Christmas Eve just only 10 days away and not knowing my work travels until - literally - last minute, I have to cherish the time I have with James and the rest of my family and friends while I'm home. Granted, figs aren't a holiday staple in my family, I think I should make it one ... I didn't fancy fig nor Fig Newtons before ... but, I'm starting to like 'em." /searches for a recipe for figgy pudding ...
